TigerAirways 2nd Australian Base?

I'm in Darwin and for some reason you can't book a Darwin - Melb ticket (or vise versa) after the end of october 08. I'm wondering if that's because maybe they're thinking of having Darwin as their 2nd base? (I hope!) You can book all other flights right through to Feb, just not Darwin?? Anyone heard anything? Thanks
