WestJet launch ed new seasonal non-stop service from Calgary to its two newest U.S. destinations this week. Service to San Diego begins today, with service to San Francisco launching on Tuesday, June 2.
"San Diego and San Francisco are beautiful places to visit and we're very pleased to be back giving our guests non-stop seasonal service to these fabulous destinations," said Bob Cummings, WestJet Executive Vice-President of Guest Experience and Marketing. "They also represent the latest steps in the expansion of our 55-city network and the ongoing focus on our strategic goals and objectives as an airline."

This announcement is part of WestJet's enhanced summer schedule, which also included the addition of two other new destinations: Sydney, N.S., and Yellowknife, as well as the return of seasonal summer service from Calgary to New York (via Newark) and increased frequency in its existing network.
