AirTran Airways announced nonstop seasonal service today between Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Washington, D.C., and General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee, Wis. The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) recently awarded AirTran Airways the right to add one new daily roundtrip flight from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport beginning May 3, 2008. The airline has added the roundtrip flight to Milwaukee as part of its growth strategy for 2008. The flights will be operated with the airline's quiet and fuel-efficient Boeing 717 aircraft.

"Our new service will mean lower fares for thousands of passengers flying to and from Washington, D.C.
