I will soon be travelling to India from Darwin by Tiger Airlines via Singapore. I arrive in Singapore at about 3.30 AM and my connecting flight is around 8 PM. I know Changi Airport Terminals 1 & 2 have very good facilities such as transit hotel etc where one can get some sleep and relax, but I am told that one cannot use those facilities unless your departure is from those terminals. What facilities are available for the passengers that are stuck at the Budget Terminal? Any advice?

Changi Village Hotel may be a good alternative to the airport transit hotel. I've never stayed there, but it looks decent and it's near the airport.
