Cebu Pacific will expand its Manila-Macau-Manila operations from three times weekly to daily to meet rising demand.
Initially, the Manila-Macau service will have an additional Sunday flight beginning January 13, 2008 and will become a daily service on June 6, 2008.
Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific VP for marketing and product, said, “Our passenger loads to Macau continue to grow and we need to keep up with the rising demand. We expect this growth trend to continue partly because of our offering of trademark year round low fares plus a strong peso has made travel to Macau, and other international destinations for that matter, very affordable.”
Fares to Macau start at P1,499 one way, exclusive of taxes and surcharges.
“The mounting of these additional flights will allow us to provide more options for our guests who may also opt to visit Hong Kong by flying to Macau and returning to Manila via Hong Kong and vice-versa,” she added.
Narzalina Lim, General Manager of the Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) said, “The MGTO in the Philippines congratulates Cebu Pacific and welcomes their additional flights. We will continue our partnership in promoting Macau as a tourism destination of choice to the Philippine market.”
