Im travelling on Tiger flight TR717 in 2 weeks PERTH-SINGAPORE. I booked my tickets a few months ago but lately Tiger have been having a bad run in terms of flights being cancelled or delayed. My flight departs at 22.35 Perth time so my options are limited in terms of getting an alternative flight if it goes pear shaped. Im travelling with 2 other people and it is very important that we arrive in Singapore at least by the end of the scheduled day of arrival.
My alternative plan if the TR717 did not turn up was to line up at the Singapore Airlines counter and purchase tickets there and then for SQ216 which departs at 02.55 Perth time. Does anyone know if buying tickets last minute at the counter is very much more expensive versus purchasing in advance off the net (not that I have that option). Alternatively would Tiger Airways put on an extra flight the following day at an earlier departure time to cater for a flight cancellation?
Or does anyone in the know have any suggestions???
Thanks in Advance!
