V Australia is Virgin Blue's new trans-Pacific carrier, and will fly to the US.  They are applying for permission to start service in November, but I didn't see anything about what cities they will fly to, though I assum it would be Los Angeles.

V Australia plans to start operating flights in November 2008. No destinations have been announced yet. I think Los Angeles is a logical assumption, although East coast would be nice too.

I don't think they can fly directly to the east coast from Australia, long range isn't that long-range.  The only other place I thought of was San Diego.
