Jazeera Airways, the new national airline of Kuwait and the first private airline in the Middle East, inaugurated today the launch of its non-stop service to Jeddah at a press conference in Jeddah’s International Airport. The new flights between Kuwait and Jeddah break a 50-year duopoly and make the airline only the third operator on the route.
Jazeera Airways’ Chairman and CEO said: “For the first time in history, Jeddah travellers have a choice when travelling between Kuwait and Jeddah. We are confident they will love our aircraft’s leather seats, low fares, flight timings, and great on-time performance.”
Boodai added; “Recruiting a team of international experts in aviation, heavy investment in booking and payment technology, fully electronically integrated operations, abandoning old-fashioned ticketing and operating a fleet of single type aircraft – allows us to have high operational efficiency and offer our customers below-market fares throughout the year.
“We have worked with the best partners in the industry and brought leading international suppliers to the Middle East – some for the first time, to achieve this high-level efficiency and to offer a unique service that empowers people travelling to and from Kuwait,” concluded Boodai.
Jazeera Airways operates a fleet of brand new Airbus A320 aircraft, one of the most fuel efficient aircraft built today - maintained by the world-leading German company Lufthansa Technik.
