This month JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq:JBLU) is celebrating four years of low-fare service from its Boston focus city by expanding to two more most-requested destinations: Chicago O'Hare and New Orleans. Daily nonstop service to both cities kicks off May 1. JetBlue now offers its award-winning service between Logan International Airport and 30 destinations across the United States, Aruba, the Bahamas, Bermuda, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico.
"Boston's appetite for low fares hasn't let up since we first introduced service to Logan Airport back in 2004," said JetBlue CEO Dave Barger. "We're proud to now be the city's largest low-fare, low-cost airline and thrilled to keep adding more destinations in response to strong demand for premium service like ours. With new nonstop flights to Chicago and New Orleans, local travelers can enjoy low fares, great service, and a comfy ride to 30 of their favorite destinations."

"Since it began service at Logan in 2004, JetBlue has shown strong commitment to Boston reflected by the steady growth of service. These new routes mean that JetBlue will serve 30 destinations from Boston and no airline serves more."
"New Orleans is the largest domestic market without daily nonstop service from Logan," Freni added, "and it is very good news for New England that JetBlue will connect the Big Easy with Beantown."
