Oasis Hong Kong Airlines has proved its renowned 5-star service is truly fit for a princess, with its first royal passenger, HRH Princess Birgitta of Sweden, arriving in Hong Kong on the world-class airline today.
Princess Birgitta, and her fellow delegates, flew Oasis Hong Kong Airlines from London, for a week-long series of trade meetings and events in Hong Kong, organised by the Royal Sweden Hong Kong Society.
Over the week she will meet with a host of Hong Kong VIPs, as well as members of Hong Kong’s Trade Development Council and the office of the Swedish Consul-General, who will host a dinner in her honour.
Of the 12-hour flight from London, Princess Birgitta commented that the journey was so comfortable it felt like time ‘flew’.
“I loved flying Oasis,” said the Princess.
“I’d heard many good comments about Oasis and its high standard of service in Sweden, and I wasn’t disappointed. The staff was so friendly and attentive. The cabin was extremely comfortable, and with the extra touches like the beautifully presented cake and champagne on the menu, the journey was just so enjoyable. The time felt like it flew. We had landed in Hong Kong before we knew it.”
This is the Princess’s fifth visit to Hong Kong, a trip she makes yearly, combining her business engagements with her passion for golf. She will spend two days playing golf at the Mission Hills Golf Club, before returning to London on January 23.
