ATWOnline reports: Ryanair's plans to launch inflight mobile phones in cooperation with OnAir have been delayed by four months as regulatory approval has taken longer than expected, the Irish Independent confirmed. The system has approval from relevant Irish authorties, but a handful of other countries, mainly in Scandinavia, have yet to agree. CEO Michael O'Leary last week conceded that the new system will not be running until November at the earliest. The LCC and SITA announced last summer that Ryanair would outfit its entire 737 fleet with OnAir's onboard mobile communications solution. OnAir was scheduled to equip 50 aircraft during the second half with the remainder receiving installations from early 2008.
