Hi,

I was looking at this route Bangalore-Bangkok-Xiamen

BLR-BKK by Nok Air
BKK-XMN by Air Asia

I do understand that, i need to collect the Baggage from Nok air & transfer it to Air Asia, but before the Baggage collection should we go through the Immigration clearance at suvarnabhumi airport---for this should I need a visa / visa on arrival.?

Assuming that you are an Indian passport holder then the answer is yes. Get one before leaving or get one on arrival. 1000baht and some passport photos and visa application is needed too.
