Tiger Airways Australia released 100,000 seats for A$9.95 inclusive of taxes and charges and baggage across its Australian network.
The A$9.95 fares include all taxes and charges, 15 kg of check in baggage and 7 kg of carry on baggage. In announcing the plan, Mr Chris Ward, Managing Director, Tiger Airways Australia, said “the entry of Tiger Airways has put the cat amongst the pigeons. When we go on sale it is not a gimmick of a couple of tickets. This time we are offering 100,000 seats so everyday Australians can snare a low low fare.”
This seat sale comes as Tiger Airways adds Canberra and Alice Springs on 14-Feb-08 and 01-Mar-08, respectively, to its operational network of 11 destinations, making Tiger one of the fastest growing airlines in Australia’s history. Fares are available from 14-Feb-08 until Oct-08 or until sold out.
