Can anyone advise me if 1 hour and 50 minutes is enough time from landing at International arrivals at Bangkok airport and connecting to a domestic departure with Bangkok Airways to koh Samui.

Bangkok Airways says that the minimum International to Domestic connection time is 2 hours.

I'd say that 1:50 is cutting it close. You will need to walk to immigration (the airport is really spread out), clear passport control, collect your bags, go up to departures to check in with Bangkok Airways.

If your flight arrives on time and there are no long lines at immigration and no baggage delays you will make it.
