whats best buy the ticket first or get a visa first, trouble with the budget airlines you have to pay upfront and can`t reserve a seat and then make sure you can get a visa.

If you think that there is any reason why a visa may be denied then definitely get a visa first.

I believe that most people get Vietnamese visa without any problems. Just allow enough time for visa processing.
