I wonder if this plane will fly to red states as well as blue states.

I don't particularly enjoy him, but I read a funny item once.  It seems that if you write a book and get interviewed by Leno or Letterman, nothing really will happen to your sales.  Get interviewed by Colbert and a couple of other comedic talk shows, and sales zoom.

It was a great move to let Boing Boing and Colbert name the planes. Instant internet coverage for Virgin America in its best target market. Don't forget that they are based in San Francisco.
