Viva Macau is going to fly between Sydney and Macau starting the 15th of this month.  Australia is going to be spoiled for choices in getting around Asia.

Cheesy Australia is already spoiled for travel options - being so close to all of Asia and Pacific.

Viva Macau starts flying to Sydney on August 15th, then Tiger Airways starts domestic flights and hopefully expands international flights from Melbourne.

Tiget is going to do domestic flights in Australia?  That will be nice.

Australia has always been really expensive to reach unless you are in Asia.  It used to be that you bought a round-the-world ticket, including Australia really jacked the price up.

And you aren't 'close' to anything except Australia or Indonesia.  A five hour flight is not 'close'.
