WestJet announced the addition of daily non-stop service from Toronto to Quebec City, coinciding with the celebration of the city's 400th birthday in 2008. The addition of Quebec City marks WestJet's 27th destination within Canada, connecting WestJet to over 25 million Canadians. Services between Quebec City and Toronto will begin May 18, 2008 with introductory fares as low as $99 one-way.

The announcement of this new destination is part of WestJet's enhanced summer schedule which also includes new seasonal non-stop service between Regina-Toronto, Saskatoon-Toronto and Abbotsford-Toronto as well as between Ottawa-Edmonton and Ottawa-Halifax.

Bob Cummings, WestJet's Executive Vice-President Guest Experience and Marketing said, "It is an honour to welcome Quebec City to the WestJet family during such a momentous celebration of their heritage. We believe our friendly approach to guest service is consistent with the warm hospitality found in Quebec and that Quebecers will enjoy our great guest experience in French and English.

"2007 has been a tremendous year of growth at WestJet, and we would like to thank Canadians for their continued support. Our market research shows that over 90 per cent of guests who try WestJet become repeat guests and recommend us to their friends and associates. This is due in large part to our exceptional guest experience delivered by our great WestJetters. We are confident that Canadians will fill the additional seats we are adding to our network.

"As part of our summer schedule announcement, we are pleased to introduce new seasonal non-stop service to Toronto from Regina and Saskatoon. The people of Saskatchewan have always welcomed us with open arms and we are appreciative of their loyalty. These new non-stop routes will provide them with more convenient connections to Eastern Canada and to the over 60 WestJet flights that leave from Toronto each day. In true WestJet style, there are some terrific introductory fares that demonstrate WestJet's continued commitment to be the low-fare, high-value leader in Canada.

"Our continued ability to add capacity, new cities and new routes to our network is possible thanks to our dedicated and talented people. I would like to thank all WestJetters for their caring attitude and commitment to our company, setting the foundation for significant growth in 2008."
