Budget airline VietJetAir will launch 4 new domestic routes before the end of the year.
The new routes are Ho Chi Minh City to Vinh (launching November 15), Ho Chi Minh City to Hue (launching November 22), Ho Chi Minh City to Phu Quoc (launching December 20), and Hanoi to Da Lat (launching December 7).
Online ticketing for the new routes is now available with one-way fares starting from 10,000 VND (USD $0.50) plus taxes.

Low-cost Vietnamese airline VietJetAir has announced a new route from Ho Chi Minh City to Hai Phong. They will operate one round-trip flight per day starting on October 1, 2012.
The outbound flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Hai Phong will depart at 9:50am. The return flight from Hai Phong to Ho Chi Minh City will depart at 12:20pm.

Online booking is available through the VietJetAir website and one-way promotional fares start from just VND 19,000 ($1 USD) plus taxes.

Following the Ministry of Finance and Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam’s (CAAV) adjustment of ceiling prices last week, domestic airlines in Vietnam are raising their fares.
Budget carrier Jetstar Pacific has upped fares from Ho Chi Minh City to Vinh and Hai Phong from between VND950,000 and VND2.5 million (US$38-120) (excluding taxes); while flights from HCM City to Da Nang will cost VND490,000-VND1.64 million ($23.52-78.72).
Meanwhile, Vietjet Air said flights on its only route between Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Noi would remain at VND900,000 ($43.2) (excluding taxes).
Vietnam Airlines said it would raise fares by 20 per cent for economy and not more than 5 per cent for business class.
